Plot Summary
Gattu is a young man who lives in a small town in India with his parents. He has no ambition or career goals and spends his time hanging out with his friends. He is in love with his neighbour Binny, who is a smart and independent girl. However, he faces a problem as the people of his locality consider the girls of the neighbourhood as sisters and expect them to tie rakhi to the boys. Gattu tries to woo Binny and win her heart, but he has to deal with many hurdles such as Binny's brother, who is a local politician, Binny's grandmother, who is a strict matriarch, and Rahul, who is a rich and handsome guy who also likes Binny. Gattu also has to face the wrath of his friend Bhura, who is falsely accused of having an affair with Binny by Gattu's father. Gattu has to prove his love for Binny and get the approval of his community.
